Anime... really?ya I'm interested in your opinion

Go get yourself a journal skin before the charge for them again. Now.

Ok
so I'm not into everything
and I have a great dislike for most things anime
except no one(including me) can deny an awesome show when they come across one

but I haven't come across one in a while
the only ones I've ever really watched were Afro Samurai and Samurai Champloo(Death Note as well, but it's not relevant here)
and together that's only 31 episodes
(I also watched an episode of claymore but I never went looking for a second)

I'm only really into the ones with the amazing sword fights(but I'm lenient)
So now my question to however had the time to read this is:
What good animes are there that I should check out?

and please no one say bleach *Or full metal alchemist or Naruto*
I can't stress enough how little I appreciate that show

So please help me out
it was all I could really do today, being sick and all that
